There was not many in the establishment when I arrived and the menu is small, what you would expect from a bagel place - different cream cheeses, eggs, ham, etc. I ordered ham, egg, cheese on a spinach bagel - $5. The eggs are scrambled and fluffed with milk and the spinach bagel nicely toasted. I believe they added butter, but I'm not certain so if you're watching make sure to ask. It was delicious however. I would order here again. They have a couple of indoor and outdoor seats, not a large place but sufficient. It's right next door to Nene's and Doreen's Cup of Joe so if either place are crowded and you're looking for a quick breakfast, you can stop by here which is what I ended up doing since Doreen's had a 35 minute wait. I'll post a bagel picture when I can so you can see for yourself. Good bagel but very slow service.

Best bagels we've had in Florida. Homemade flavored cream cheese. The place is a little small but if you go early it isn't too bad and they still have a good selection. Eat here just about every morning when vacationing in Marco.

Great breakfast spot! Staff was fun, bagels were tasty. We loved the Asiago Cheese and the Cinnamon Sugar. Checked in on Yelp and got a free cinnamon sugar donut -- delicious!!

If you want a bagel on Marco island this is the best. Get there early or you won't get a bagel.

The bagels are nice & chewy - like a bagel should be.

Love the checkerboard floors!! Makes for an enjoyable part of my morning. The Bagels are ok and their employee, Jessica, is a sweetheart. I would suggest making more bagels (often out of several kinds by 10 am), providing more of a breakfast selection and investing in a credit card processor. For the amount of tourists (and lack of bagels) on Marco Island, Empire could really benefit from stepping up their game a bit.

Bagels in Florida usually stink. But here here the bagels are pretty damn good. Try the asiago bagel. Also the donuts seemed homemade. Great to pick up bagels and bring them to the pool when staying at the Marriot.

Bagel shop on Marco island is run by a good crew. Plus Internet is available, just ask for the password. Bagels are decent and fresh. Coffee is good. Tables inside and outside.

Fresh and delicious. The bagel was soft when it should be and crunchy where it should be crunchy. The smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers, tomato and onion complemented by a cup of FRESH squeezed orange juice made for a perfect breakfast. I will be back! One star off for the styrofoam cup, ugh.

Effin' closed on Sunday... WTF! I guess I'll be eating the continental breakfast at the hotel... mmm! In a small tourist town, such as Marco Island... why would you be closed on Sunday???

Very rude about fixing order after they forgot creme cheese. Coffee lousy.

So I'm 1,300 miles from home...in Florida, where the bagels are usually awful and we need to stop in for a QUICK breakfast because we're running late. I check Yelp and find the Empire Bagel Factory. There is no way that the bagels here can be any good and I lodge a formal protest with my wife...which is immediately overruled and I have to stop. Fine, but I don't have to like it... I walk into this place on the verge of angry and order three egg and cheese sandwiches-two on poppy and one on an everything. I also order myself a bacon egg and cheeses on an Asiago bagel...since I KNOW the bagels are gonna suck-I needed extra flavor. The very nice and patient woman tells me that the eggs are pre-made and reheated (similar to DD egg sandwiches) so again, this can't be good. At this point I really wanted to hate this place, but I got a coffee and waited...for a couple minutes. "Hey, the coffee is pretty damn good. Wait, huh? What did I say?" I check in on Yelp...and hey, we get a free cinnamon sugar donut..."Hmmmmm, that's not too bad." "Here are your sandwiches, sir"...at a price comparable to home. "That's not too shabby either." Ok, ok, here's the real test, a little salt, add some pepper, hand me some ketchup please...yeah, there we go. Put lipstick on a pig and it's still a pig, right? "Wow, that first bite was pretty good." "NO, huh? What did I say? Let me try another bite." "Dammit, this is a pretty good friggin' bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich. How it this possible?" Crunchy on the outside with a great flavor of asiago cheese, soft on the inside, snuggled up against a very tasty bacon topped egg (premade and STILL better than the eggs at DD). This never happens to me-ever...I can never find a good, or even decent, bagel place when I travel, but Empire Bagel Factory bagels were a hit. Not perfect, not 100% like bagels from home, but MUCH better than the crap I usually find. If this place was in Jersey-3, maybe 3.5 stars, but it's in the middle of Marco Island, Florida, and that gets them another star...the coffee and free donut helped too. A very good effort and we actually ended going back here on our way to the airport when we were leaving. I'd eat here again if we get back to Marco.

I've been to this Empire Bagel Factory only twice and both times, they were practically out of bagels by around 10 a.m.. I live near a Panera, and maybe it's not fair to compare EBF to Panera, but Panera always seems to have a good selection, no matter the time of day. I'm told that the selection is good when they open up for the day at 6:30 a.m., but that's too early when I'm on vacation. The toasted bagel with butter that I ordered "for here" was packaged "to go," with the butter already on it and wrapped in paper which was greasy by the time it was handed to me. The prices are good and the coffee was fine. Thanks for the real half & half and tables outside. The 3 staff members that I encountered were all great.

These are just about the worst bagels that can be made. The coffee must be made from old grinds and is self serve in white foam cops that are from the 70's. The one worker will give you Philly Tude for the honor of buying bad bagels. Go to public and buy the bagels in the bakery dept. Trust me you will thank me.

Really good bagels. They may actually make them on site. Good selection. Didnt try the coffee as it was in Styrofoam and i hate the foam taste.

Great bagel and a much better selection than anticipated. Obviously very fresh, seems to be made on sight. A nice change of pace around here if you're looking to keep the breakfast light. Off Collier with easy parking. Small shop but no one minded that I sat and read for an hour. Coffee was below average and in a Styrofoam cup. Improve that and it's a 4/5 star experience.

The bagels are very good, not great. Cream cheese is expensive for the small amount you get. We arrived at 9 and most were sold out the guy in front of me was also disappointed they were out of his favorite bagel. They get an extra star for the chocolate donut it was one of the best donuts I have had. Skip the bagels and go for the donuts.
